2026–27 Registration
Registration opens Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 12:00 noon.
Please review the registration information below before registering.
Registration, Placement & Practice Schedules
Registration does not guarantee placement on a Metro Basketball League roster, Boys House League roster, particular team, division, coach, friend group, or a particular practice day, time or location.
The number of teams Bedford Eagles can offer in each age group may be limited by available gym space, qualified coaches and roster capacity. Player placement is based on the Club’s Player Classification process, registration priority and available roster space.
Practice schedules cannot be confirmed when registration opens. They are finalized only after registration numbers, team formation, coaches and gym assignments are confirmed. Some teams may practise outside Bedford because of limited gym availability.
Where demand exceeds available program capacity, registration caps and waiting lists may be used. A waiting-list position does not guarantee placement.
Families will receive placement and practice information by email or through the RAMP Team App once details are confirmed.

Programs Offered
Bedford Eagles plans to offer the following programs for the 2026–27 season, subject to sufficient registrations, qualified coaches, gym availability and program capacity:
- Little Eagles Girls and Boys
- U10 Girls and Boys
- U12 Girls and Boys
- U14 Girls and Boys
- U16 Boys
- U16–18 Girls
- U18 Boys
- Boys House League in selected age groups, where offered

Boys House League
Boys House League is a Bedford-based developmental program that may be offered in selected boys age groups, subject to registration numbers, available coaches, gym space and program capacity.
Players register in their regular age division and participate in the applicable Player Classification process before rosters are formed.
Where Boys House League is available, players who are not placed on a Metro Basketball League roster may be offered a House League position, subject to available roster space.

Please have the following information available:
- The player’s full legal name
- The player’s complete date of birth
- The player’s home address
- Parent or guardian contact information
- A current email address that is checked regularly
- Emergency contact information
- Relevant medical or allergy information
- The player’s jersey size
- The player’s shorts size
Please make sure all registration information is accurate before submitting the form. Bedford Eagles may request proof of age, residency or registration eligibility where required.
The email address entered during registration will be used for important communication throughout the registration, classification and placement process.
Uniform Sizes
Families will be asked to select a jersey size and shorts size during registration.
Available sizes: Youth Small through Youth X-Large and Adult Small through Adult X-Large.
Uniform sizing may vary by manufacturer. Please select the size that best fits the player at the time of registration while allowing for reasonable growth during the season.
Bedford Eagles assigns uniforms based on the sizes selected during registration. Size changes may not be available after uniform orders have been submitted.

What Happens After Registration?
Little Eagles
Little Eagles players do not participate in regular league Player Classification Sessions.
Families will receive program information after registration numbers, coaches and facility bookings are confirmed.
Session days, times and locations depend on available gym space and the number of program groups Bedford Eagles can reasonably support. This program will begin in October.

Players in applicable age divisions attend the scheduled Player Classification Sessions before teams are formed.
Classification dates, times, locations and group assignments will be sent through the RAMP email system and posted on the Bedford Eagles website.
Initial sessions may be organized alphabetically. After each session, evaluators review their assessments and players may be regrouped with others who demonstrated similar current skill and development levels.
After Player Classification:
- Player assessments are finalized.
- Classification results and registration eligibility are reviewed.
- Available Bedford Eagles rosters are formed.
- Coaches are assigned.
- Metro Basketball League teams are submitted for league seeding.
- Families are notified of placement outcomes by email.
- Coaches contact families after rosters and practice schedules are confirmed.
Not every registered player is guaranteed placement on a roster. Where an age group has more players than available roster capacity, the Club’s Registration Priority Protocol will apply.

Registration Quick Answers
A few important things to know before registering.
Does registering guarantee my child a place on a team?
No. Registration allows an eligible player to participate in the registration and Player Classification process. Final placement depends on classification, registration priority and available roster capacity.
Who receives priority when an age division is full?
Returning Bedford Eagles players receive first priority, followed by new Bedford-area players. Out-of-area players may be considered where space remains. Priority does not guarantee roster placement.

What happens if an age division reaches capacity?
Registration may be capped and additional players may be placed on a waiting list. A waiting-list position does not guarantee placement. Where roster positions are limited, the Club’s Registration Priority Protocol will apply.
Does returning to Bedford Eagles guarantee my child a roster position?
No. Returning players receive registration priority, but they must still participate in the applicable Player Classification process and be placed on an available roster. The number of teams Bedford Eagles can offer in an age group may be limited by available coaches, gym space and roster capacity.
Is Boys House League available to every registered player?
No. Boys House League may be offered in selected age groups where registration numbers, qualified coaches, gym availability and roster capacity allow. Where the program is offered, eligible players who are not placed on a Metro Basketball League roster may be offered a House League position.
Will I know my child’s practice schedule before registering?
No. Practice schedules cannot be finalized until registration numbers, team formation, coaches, gym allocations and facility bookings are confirmed. Bedford Eagles cannot guarantee a particular practice day, time or location.
