2026–27 Registration Fee

$550
Per Player

The standard registration fee covers participation in the Bedford Eagles regular basketball season.

Registration fees are reviewed annually and may change from season to season.

What Is Included?

Included in Registration

  • Player Classification, including the $40 classification fee
  • Regular team practice time
  • League games
  • Basketball Nova Scotia membership and insurance
  • League fees and administration
  • Team basketballs and shared training equipment
  • Referee and minor-official costs for regular league play
  • Gym rentals associated with regular club programming 
  • Club administration and program support

Additional or Personal Costs

  • Basketball shoes
  • Personal basketballs
  • Optional team apparel
  • Tournament entry fees, where applicable
  • Travel, meals or accommodation * if required
  • Optional team activities or fundraising costs

Competitive (REP) Additional Practice Fee

Competitive (REP) Division 1 and Division 2 teams are normally scheduled for a second weekly practice.

An additional fee of $150 per player for ages U12 and above and $100.00 for U10 ages, applies for this additional practice time.

Tournament, travel or other team-specific costs may also apply depending on the activities selected by the team.

Payment Information

Payment is completed through the Bedford Eagles online registration system.

A registration is not considered complete until the registration form and required payment have been successfully submitted.

Financial Assistance

Families who require financial assistance are encouraged to explore available sport-funding programs.

Common programs include:

Apply as early as possible. Funding programs may have their own eligibility requirements, processing times and application deadlines.

Withdrawals & Refunds

Refund amounts depend on the date a withdrawal request is received and are governed by the Bedford Eagles Refund Policy.

The classification fee and applicable administration amounts may be withheld in accordance with that policy.

Is the $40 classification fee an additional charge?

No. The $40 Player Classification fee is included in the registration fee.

Are there additional fees for Competitive (REP) teams?

Yes. Division 1 and Division 2 players pay an additional $150 for the second weekly practice. Tournament, travel or other team-specific costs may also apply.

What if my family needs financial assistance?

Families are encouraged to apply through KidSport Nova Scotia, Canadian Tire Jumpstart or other available funding programs as early as possible.

What happens if my child withdraws?

Refund eligibility and the amount returned depend on when the withdrawal request is received. Please review the Bedford Eagles Refund Policy for the applicable dates and amounts.
